  • 45  SHGs formed  covering around 602 weavers.  Account opened for 15 SHGs with Nationalized Banks. 3SHGs  financed worth  Rs 2.50 lakhs.
  • Sales worth Rs Rs.133.30 lakhs realized through participation in different BSM and Exhibition across the country. viz, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Nasik, Chennai etc.
  • Established Common Facility Centre at Narasapur, Gadag. CFC includes Testing Lab, new product development workshop, for common utilization by cluster weavers.   Established CATD / CAM.
  • Established Dye House at Narasapur, Gadag. Capacity of  dyeing  is approx  200.00 kgs per day.
  • Rotation of yarn – 40 cycles [Approx 200 lakhs]
  • A SHG ( i.e Adisakthi Kaimagga Nekarara Swasahaya Sanga) consisting of 30 weavers at Gajendragad, tied up  with MIs. Mahila Cooperative Multipurpose Society (DES!), Heggodu, Sagar, for production and marketing. The said SHG is awarded with “Dasimayya National Award” for short term achievement of handloom activities, by DESI-Charaka Society, Sagar.
  • Imparted Handloom Weaving Training to non-weaver members of  9 SHGs and covered around 90 weavers. 30 weavers individual weavers generated employment by financing working capital loan from Nationalized Banks.
  • Conducted 3 Management Training programme at CEDOK, Dharwad, for 30 members of cluster actors.  And also IT Training programme is conducted for 20 office bearers of the cluster for awareness of basic computer knowledge.
  • Replacement of wire healds and reeds -  805 weavers .  Ultimately resulted earning of weavers  by 5%.
  • By  introducing  dyeing reactive colours cost  of production  reduced by 10% compared to Vat colour dyeing technique
