• Besides, thirty groups covering 360 nos. of weavers promoted during the year 2007-08 are also being strengthened with regular hand holding support
• In total, Eighty SHG covering 938 weavers strengthened under IHCDP, Bargarh
• All the Eighty Five groups bank linked
• Sixty SHG credit linked Rs.127.55 lakhs

CDCG meeting held on 15th September, 2009 was presided over by the Collector, Bargarh. Representative of WSC, BBSR ttended as Vice-Chairman of the CDCG. Besides, representative of EDII, BBSR, M.D., Boyanika, JDT(W.D.), Bargarh, AGM, NABARD, P.D., DRDA, and other members of CDCG attended the meeting.

• Progress of the achievements since last CDCG was reviewed in details.
• Proceedings of the CDCG being circulated among all the members of the CDCG. |

• Retail Sales of Rs.23.05 lakhs generated
• Orders of Rs.1.15 lakh received
• 25 potential buyers visited the stall and 7 buyers shown their interest for market linkages
• One new Handloom Haat opened in the premises of Regulated Market Committee, Attabira in Attabira block
• One consortium now participated in the exhibition at Vadodara during 1-10 May, 2009. Participated in Handloom expo at Ahmedabad during Oct.09 & generated sales worth Rs.5.45 lakhs.
