?It was suggested to deposit a sum of Rs.1.0 lakh as seed money with T.V.M. Dist. C C Bank for revival of vedol & Neduagunam. Threekalaleeswarar W. C. S.  Since Vedol Society revived by getting cash credit from coop central Bank the society is not in need of help from cluster. As A.D.H.T Vellore suggested that Nedugunam theerkajaleswarar WCS can not be revived with the help of Meagre money from cluster and also as per suggestion of ADHT  the amount of 1.0 lakhs has been provided to ponnur WCS and Ponnur murugan in form of yarn & wages at Rs.50 lakhs each WCS.
D Design  and Product Development

As per suggesstion fom TRP Mr.Thiru D Jayaramiah, visited Trivandrum & Chirala with weavers to study improved methods of Sizing & Weaving adopted in the above area.

17 Up gradation of Dyeing Unit at Kunnagampoondi Poondi WCS 5.00 0.00 2 0 To upgrade the dye house of Kunnagam poondi pudur WCS the amount was sanctioned. The society due to litigation problem has informed that they are unable to upgrade the dyeing unit. Hence it is proposed to utilize this fund to construct a silk dyeing unit at Devikapuram to benefit more than 1500 weavers living in and around Devikapuram. The Devikapuram panchayat has provided land free of cost for this purpose and proposal have been submitted to collector for early sanction of the land.
