Conducted stateholder's workshop at Cuddalore, Kumaragura College, Coimbatore, IIHT, Salem, Pudupet & Kurinjipadi; various nine cluster pockets, covering sub-clusters too & in 15 meetings.
About 3000 weavers particpated in the meeting. Collector headed the meeting, Managing Director of Cooptex & all CDCC members have also attended. The weavers response was impressive and they voiced their problems and requirements. |

?Conducted at Co-optex Regional Office, Cuddalore with help of HEPC, Chennai. About 70 stakeholders have been participated. The Collector headed the function. During the meeting power point presentation was made on Export Procedure & Documentation, Design Mgt. for Export Market & Handloom Market Scheme. Broacher for Export market has been prepared. ? Seminar for information dissemination for export procedure for methodology for 50 office beares with help of HEPC, Textile Committee and ECGC. The Collector & E.D., HEPC have also participated in the seminar. ?Seminar conducted with Sardar Vallabhai Patel Textiles Management, Coimbatore for 2 days - 30 stakeholders participated & benefited. |

MOU entered with society. Finalized the equipments & quotations called for. Technical Committee formed and opened on 23.4.10, the second Technical Committee meeting fixed on 6.5.10 for negotiation and finalize the rates for equipments. ?The Dyes house is dropped due to Pollution Control Board Permission. The proposal for finalizing & purchasing the equipments is sent to Head Office for approval. (Premises Available) |
