D DESIGN & NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Fitting of Take up Motions on the looms helped weavers to maintain the structure and overall quality of the fabric and rolls the fabric automatically on the roller thus save the time which in turn increases the productivity of the weavers by 20-25%
E DYING UPGRADATION TRAINING          
14 Dyers Workshop 9.50 8.20 18 18 ?Dyers workshop for developing good Dyers at Cluster level.              ?Workshops organised in association with WSC-Indore & ATUL-Valsad, D.G.Tex Solutions. New process of bleaching was adopted by dyers which reduces the time without any extra cost, total 77 dyers participated.          
?Training for developing Master Dyers (2 batches of 10 dyers each): Dyeing workshop on Silk yarn with acid, Metal Complex, Reactive & Natural Dyes was oranganised at Fabric & Apparel Science Dept.   ?5 programmes organised in technical collaboration with WSC-Indore, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Hydrabad at Chanderi; total 165 participants attended the programme.                     
?2 Dyeing Workshops has been organized on following subjects;          1. Dyeing Technique of Vat colour.   2. Dyeing Process of Vat Colour.         3. Proper Mixing of Chemical.   4. Proper Washing & quantity of Colour & Chemical.
15 Orientation Workshop of Dyers at the Cluster 0.50 0.50 1 1 One day workshop on natural Dyes & Good Dying practices was organized in association with Weaver service centre at Indore.

F INSTITUTIONAL STRENGTHENING

H INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT          
22 Upgradation of existing Dye House 9.50 9.50 1 1 Facility of good quality dyeing is available for the whole cluster on user charge basis. On an average Dyeing of 50kgs. Of Cotton & 10kgs. Of Silk is being done every day.
23 Construction of Warping Sheds 10.00 5.00 4 4 ?Warping Shed of size 75x12" is required at different locations of the cluster to facilitate the weavers for winding their warp beams during rainy/summer seasons. Since activity requires lot of space and weavers are forced to do this activity in the open area/streets and face problems in rainy /summar seasons leads to wastage of productive time.

DYE HOUSE : 1500kgs. Of yarn dyed till date & income generated worth of Rs.1.77 lakhs. MoU  signed with the Consortium.
