Weavers are getting free medical treatment facility through 10 free OPD and 5 free IPD  in the area. 4300 weavers enrolled under MGBBY Life Insurance. 45 death claim settled amounting to Rs.27.00 lakhs. 650 school children received monthly stipend @Rs.100/- per month as additional benefit under MGBBY. Besides, 14500 adult weavers have been issued Weaver's Photo  Id Card under State Plan Scheme. Awarness Camp organized at four block head quarters of the cluster i.e. Bargarh, Bijepur, Attabira & Sohella.  Joint Director of Textiles, Bargarh, Assistance Director of Textiles, Bargarh, Local Bankers, AGM, NABARD, Block Development Officers also attended the awarness camp as guest.

4 Baseline information collection 1.00 1.00     • Local enumerator in the cluster villages were identified to do the base line survey under the guidance of CDE, Bargarh and the staff of Assistant Director of Textiles, Bargarh
• 6777 working looms surveyed in 154 villages in four blocks of the cluster

Weavers are now using right kind of dyeing process and colour fast products with market led colours are produced.                        ?NHDC has organized one training programme at Bargarh. 75 beneficiaries attended the programme. The programme was inaugurated by the Joint Director of textiles, Bargarh. DGM - NHDC, Kolkatta, Technical Expert from WSC, BBSR, M. D., Sambalpuri Bastralay, District Co-ordinator, ICICI, Lombard, Asst. Manager, Commercial. 1st training organized on 19-20 Feb'10 & 2nd training conducted as on March'10. However 3 nos of dyeing demonstration programme were conducted in the cluster area by W.S.C., BBSR in the month of Jan'10 - 175 weavers benefited.

D. C. Handloom Office is moved to accord necessary approval for Weaver's Training.

In Dye House cotton hank yarn of about 30 bales are being dyed in a month. Quality Testing Laboratory is operational. Cluster Information Centre is used by the stakeholders.
